Taiothle Front Empty Re: Taiothle Front

Post by Taiothle 30th March 2015, 9:25 am

After the Undine attack, Prince Liam Pomeroy of Kylantha issued an order that would keep the shield generators up until all remaining Undine were killed. Droids purchased from some neighbors began to clean up the ruined ships and all the corpses. Because of the damage they had done, the Taiothleans voted to simply allow the dead Undine to drift into space, unattended. They deserved it, for all the men, women, and children they killed. They were not supreme. Taiothle showed them that.

Mass burials were being held in all of Taiothle, with different methods, but they were all mourning. From this day forth, the Taiothleans would remember their fight against the Undine who attacked without any provocation whatsoever. They would be known as scum forever, and would be treated as hostile wherever they were sighted by any Taiothlean.

Taiothle Front Empty Re: Taiothle Front

Post by Undine Prime 26th March 2015, 5:18 am

The Undine, despite their best efforts, were hopelessly and utterly defeated. Their remaining forces attempted to retreat, only to be halted by Taiothle's defense grid. The remaining Undine forces, rather than surrender, committed ritual suicide rather than face the dishonor of being captured by the unclean. Their warships were set to self-destruct, nothing remained of the Undine's once impressive invasion fleet.

"These... these unclean, how could they defeat US? We are the Undine! We are superior to ALL!" Were the final words of the Undine fleet commander as he ended his own existence.

When the fedonians received the message. They were not surprised. They decided to head for the Ecolan Front. The new Head of the space Fleet replacing Yule after he was assassinated. Knew that the people of the Taiothle Cluster could hold their own as they have in the past.

Taiothle Front Empty Re: Taiothle Front

OOC: Would you prefer if I wrote like this, instead when it comes to these sorts of threads, OP?

Kylantha

Liam Pomeroy quickly dodged the rounds fired from the Undine's cannons, leaving the large creature a target for the Imperial Guard and the two Droideka that were armed with Taiothlean Personal Shield Projectors and heavy gattling guns with ionized rounds. This guy wasn't going to get off so easily for attempting to take the Tahnir Prince's life. But before the Imperial Guard and the Droideka could take the Undine down, the Prince appeared from above. He was small and very quick on his feet.

The other Kylanthans held fire as their Prince latched onto the Undine's head, pressing both his sub-machine guns against the invader's head. With a smirk, he pulled on both triggers, killing the Undine in an instant. Before he could fall with the large creature, Pomeroy jumped off and landed on two paws. His subordinates were amazed at their leader's performance. But it wasn't that much of a surprise, as he had been trained since the day he learned to speak. That was only two weeks after his birth.

After this, Pomeroy looked around at his comrades and headed out the double doors to his throne-room. These invaders had defiled the room in which his father had united all of Kylantha, and now... They had to be punished. All of them. From there, Pomeroy gathered a mass of forces both droid and Tahnir, killing off all the Undine they encountered. Anyone who showed suspicious behavior or was identified by droids as not Tahnir (Biological scanning) was shot down before they could cause significant damage to the rapidly growing fighting force.

Calirianne

High King Tethi Alraidh was fighting alongside his troops. All sporting elegantly designed capes, the Ashryn Royal Army courageously engaged the Undine, causing their ships to crash into the wide seas of Calirianne, where they would be dismantled by the Tanigrei. Using sonar, the aquatic peoples used the assistance of massive sea predators that swam so fast, that upon breaking through the surface of the sea, reached great heights. Through this method, many Undine ships were dragged into the ocean. The ones that couldn't be reached were hit by missiles and beams launched from submerged fire points.

Triovha

The Triovhan Vraemt were equipped with efficient weaponry and used mostly blue fire to ward off large groups of the Undine. And when that didn't work, thermobaric bombs were the most common weapons. Because many Triovhans were "marked" to keep track of population, it was easy to tell which were mimics and which weren't.

Unlike their allies, the Vraemt learned easily, and stopped using spacecraft once large losses were recorded. Anti-air defense was the most commonly used at this point. And because fighting in some places were so desperate, many army groups began to employ germ warfare, sending a bacteria that was harmful to most outside organisms other than Vraemt and their subspecies and caustic cell canisters at the Undine.

Thelne Allanar

Of all Taiothlean space and atmospheric divisions, the Ieunach seemed to be working the best. Their ships could not be infiltrated, as of all of Taiothle, they kept very well-made security systems on at all times that went as far as checking your very DNA. It was absurd, but not impossible. The Ieunach had achieved it. The Azulahr however, were not faring so well... And... Tough luck for them. Their rivals were not willing to help them, as they were considered barbaric scum.

C'herod / Ustu / Thaadrru

Perhaps the invasion of C'herod was not such a good idea. As the Undine advanced towards the surface of the K'vatan homeworld, their ships fell to the ground in large numbers, almost simultaneously. They could take the shape of K'vatan, but were not as efficient. In addition to that, they were also identified easily and branded as defilers of the K'vatan species. Whoever dared to copy them was captured and placed in a Universal Energy Cage to face harsh punishment later.

The Neaph, Klig, Gistag, and Tradyhn of Ustu were more primitive races, but they were not to be underestimated. Ustu was a massive planet with millions of places to hide. Crevices that couldn't be noticed until they opened up and swallowed you whole. The Undine were surprised as they ventured into Ustuan forests, only to end up separated as they were hunted down by the natives and the wildlife itself, which did not take too kindly to invaders such as these.

And on the Planet Thaadrru, the Undine ground forces suffered massive casualties as each of them died very brutal and painful deaths. They could imitate other life-forms, but they wouldn't understand the complex language used by the Knil'ikhae and Khaklil, both advanced descendants of Earth's extinct dromaeosaurids. The Undine armies, no matter how large, were charged head-on by Thaadrruan fauna, flora, and the local sentients. They were torn apart, eaten alive, and sometimes hanged by the living trees that didn't like being cut or damaged.

Sheridan Prime

In this battle, the Sheridanian humans relied more on technology and their intelligence to beat the Undine. In some parts of the planet, biochemical warfare was used frequently after the humans discovered that most Undine ships were biomass that were unfamiliar with Sheridan Prime's many different environments. The biochemical weapons were delivered mostly by mobile drone systems that traveled in massive packs, working like mosquitos that swarmed the Undine, injecting them with large doses of a disease that was supposedly deadly to the Undine. The Sheridanians were able to find out the effects of this disease as they'd obtained an Undine corpse and did some tests during the heat of battle, in a subterranean laboratory.

And to the Fedonians, prideful as they were, the Taiothleans declined, though most leaders made it a reason that Fedonia needed to tend to its own problems before going to help another mostly hostile system that could at the moment, be considered a Separatist union.

Fedonians send a message ahead of them. "Are the members of the Taiothle Cluster willing to let a fedonian fleet in to help push the Undine back? We are sending this ahead of the fleet. If you don't want our help we will redirect course and head for another front."

Taiothle Front Empty Re: Taiothle Front

Post by Undine Prime 22nd March 2015, 3:23 pm

The Undine had severely underestimated the Taiothle, their initial attack had cost too many ships. They now had insufficient numbers for a direct invasion of Taiothle, so now they would scatter throughout their territory and harass everyone they could.

---

On the ground, the Undine were fighting fiercely against the Kylanthans. They were three legged and had the ability to assume the form of any other life form, it was extremely difficult to tell them apart from normal Kylanthans. When they did have to fight they were very hard to kill, often taking several Kylanthans down with them. One had come to face the Kylanthan Prince, it was armored and carrying large cannons on each arm. It aimed its weapons at the Prince and fired.

Taiothle Front Empty Re: Taiothle Front

Post by Taiothle 22nd March 2015, 10:09 am

At first sight of unidentified space-craft, the Kylanthan Tahnir immediately deployed their massive planetary shield generators. But it was too late. Many of these hostile ships were able to bypass the shields, allowing the rest of the enemy to stream into the system. Following this, all Taiothlean militaries were mobilized and prepared for a fight. The Planet C'herod was least affected, as its inhabitants were better suited for combat with these creatures called the Undine.

As most Taiothlean weaponry didn't need a lock-on system to find targets, they were able to take down many of the Undine ships. Tahnir and Ieunach Space-Superiority fighters seemed the most well-off of any of the space-craft in the sky. Anti-air defenses also were able to effectively combat the threat.

On the surface of Kylantha, Prince Liam Pomeroy was unintimidated at the sight before him. He was ready to fight if so needed. Sporting two handheld sub-machine guns, he waited in his throne-room for whoever dared to attack him. To each of his sides, many of the Kylanthan Imperial Guard were at the ready. The doors opened a few moments later, and two Q-Series Droidekas rolled into the throne-room. They stopped in front of Pomeroy and unfurled, modified gattling guns at the ready.

"Your Highness," one of them said, "The Undine have breached the walls. They may be on their way in this moment." That wasn't uncommon, as Kylantha frequently purchased droids, giving them personalities and actual lives and productive roles in their society.

"Let them come.. We'll cut them all down." said the young Prince, checking if both his guns were ready for their baptism of fire.

On other planets, the situation was quite the same. Though ships were often much weaker in this situation, ground forces and lighter space-craft and aircraft were better. On the planet Thaadrru, the Knil'ikhae and the Khaklil readily attacked the Undine on foot with their claws and excellent ambush tactics. The wildlife was stirred by many of the Thaadrruans, causing great loss in Undine forces.

The C'herod K'vatan were at the moment, bringing down Undine ships in the thousands. The Undine had no effect on them and they were prevailing. Many however, fled, due to the sheer presence of these invaders. Only those that were angry enough stayed to defend, killing as much as possible and taking little to no damage at all.

The Ashryn of Calirianne had evacuated their surface cities, and were defending just as fiercely as their allies, grabbing Undine ships and dragging them to the depths were the Tanigrei destroyed them completely. Triovha was doing well like all others, and so were Thelne Allanar and Ustu. Sheridan Prime was doing pretty good as well, sustaining a small amount of losses in their ground forces, but more in their air force.

So, this early on, Taiothle was defending quite well. They were able to destroy the Undine fearlessly, even though many ships had been lost. That part was rather irritating for them, but this anger caused by those losses made them more powerful as they eventually began linking up and demolishing Undine forces where they were found, either brutally executing them or sending them back into space where they belonged.

Taiothle Front Empty Re: Taiothle Front

Post by Undine Prime 18th March 2015, 4:05 am

Without notice and without provocation, thousands of unidentified vessels swarm through the various worlds of Taiothle, destroying everything they set their sights on. Every world is under siege, naval forces have been engaged and ground forces are under heavy fire. They broadcast the following message in all directions:

"All impure will be eliminated, the Undine shall reign supreme. Surrender now and accept your fate!"

The Taiothle weapons cannot get a proper lock on the Undine ships, which seem to be made completely out of bio-matter. The Undine infiltrate many of their starships without notice and sabotage vital systems, often causing catastrophic failure and destruction of the vessel. Large sections of the Galaxy are now under heavy siege.
