The Undine were completely decimated, caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the Fedonians they had far too little time to react. Not a single Undine vessel or soldier made it out of the system, the Fedonians were too much for the Undine to handle. The Undine assault on the Ecolan Union was over before it really began.

The fleet splits into two groups. One to block any more Undine from coming in and the other to destroy the Undine in the system. Fedonian troops teleport down to the planet. And they are put under the control of the Ecolan government in till the Undine are pushed from the planet. Undine that dared attack the Fedonians were destroyed before the Undine could retreat. The Fedonians here were not as aggressive as the other fleet in the other active front. A blueprint was received by the Ecolan Union. "This blue print is the bane of Undine ships. It's a bio torpedo developed by the Japanese and the Galactic Empire. We also would like to request after we push the Undine from your system you send a couple ships with us to invade Undine space. That will be all for now." The Fedonian fleet here wanted to minimize losses here since this was going to be a pivotal launching point to invade Undine space. They had already caused havoc for the Undine traveling here. Only time could tell what was going to become of the Undine after the war.

A message is received by the Ecolans. It's a message to from the fedonian fleet."This is Fedonian First repel the Undine fleet. We heard that that Undine are invading you nation. A few days ago with help from the Galatic Empire and The Japanese Terran Republic. We repelled the Undine invasion of the Star Confederacy. We are requesting to help join you in repelling the Undine from your empire. Then we will push into the the Undine threats own territory." The fedonian waits for a response from the Ecolan Union.

The Undine began to launch drop ships in preparation for a ground assault, they started their descent through the Ecolan atmosphere.

Moments later the Star Destroyer exploded, debris flew in every direction as what was once a mighty warship become a smoldering heap of wreckage. The Imperial survivors arrived on the surface at the same time their ship was lost. They arrived at an Ecolan medical center, where they received some much needed medical attention. Captain Borrus neglected his own injuries to ensure his remaining crew were taken care of.

"We can't let you beam down."The base commander said.
"But sir!"A man in the background argued. "We can't just leave them to die!"
"How do we know that they're not Undine!?"
"We don't, sir... But if they aren't, we let hundreds of innocent men die! We can't just let them die!"
After a brief silence, the Base Commander responded back to the Imperial Cruiser again.
"Beam them down."

A lone Imperial Star Destroyer exits Hyperspace above the Ecolan Union, it is followed closely by Undine warships. The Star Destroyer begins to break apart as various sections depressurize and explode, exposing the crew to open space. The Undine continue to hit the Star Destroyer with everything they had, even though the ship had obviously lost the ability to fight a while ago... they send the following transmission to the planet below.

"This is Acting Captain Borrus of the Imperial Star Destroyer Fidelity, we need immediate assistance. Requesting permission to beam our sick and injured to the surface, this thing wont hold together much longer!" A frantic Imperial yells over the sound of gunfire and screaming. "They came out of nowhere, they destroyed our entire fleet! Please! You have to help us!"

To prevent any ground invasion, the Ecolan Government decides they will launch a nuke into space to destroy the Undine. many Ecolan ships will be destroyed, but maybe it will work. It is the Ecolan's last hope.

The tracking devices are useful for acquiring target locks on the Undine warships, but each Undine ship is too fast for the missiles to be entirely accurate. A handful of Undine ships are damaged and out of the fight from the explosions but the assault continues without breaking the tempo. Ecolan cities come under fire as Undine ships commence orbital strikes of military targets and economic centers, several Ecolan officials are assassinated. Ecolan intelligence reports show that the Undine have infiltrated several Ecolan government agencies, and it is believed that this infiltration has been underway for many years already. The Undine ships destroy every Ecolan fleet that stand in their way, but for unknown reasons a direct ground assault has not yet began. Ecolan squads that attempt to board Undine vessels are never to be heard from again as they are torn apart by the Undine ship-board security.

Ecolan forces scramble, doing everything in their power to keep these enemies at bay. Multiple teams are ordered to beam up to the enemy ships, mainly by firing a small capsule that contains a tracker in the ships. The squad then beam up to the tracker, and try to take over the enemy ships.
Emphasis on TRY.
Most of the squads die, but severa ships were actually taken. The ships then turn their weapons o the enemy. The Undine do not expect ships of theirs win kind to fire upon them, but the Undine quickly destroy them.
Next, the Ecolans try to launch missles up at the enemy ships, detonating when they get close.

Without notice and without provocation, thousands of unidentified vessels swarm through the Ecolan Union, destroying everything they set their sights on. Every world is under siege, naval forces have been engaged and ground forces are under heavy fire. They broadcast the following message in all directions:

"All impure will be eliminated, the Undine shall reign supreme. Surrender now and accept your fate!"

The Ecolan weapons cannot get a proper lock on the Undine ships, which seem to be made completely out of bio-matter. The Undine infiltrate many of their starships without notice and sabotage vital systems, often causing catastrophic failure and destruction of the vessel. Large sections of the Galaxy are now under heavy siege.
